Would you like to stay at an oceanfront hotel in South Beach Miami? right on the sand?...you have quite a few options..oceanfront hotels north of south beach area, in the south pointe of South Beach, and right in the middle of all the best areas of South Beach...
Those north of South Beach area could some times be cheaper, more quiet and more suitable for the whole family when bringing the kids and trying to avoid being in the busy areas for your entire stay, but will require taxi or long walks for site seeing and others. The hotel Fontainebleau is one of the most popular oceanfront luxury hotels (20 blocks north of here), worth the price.
Those hotels at the southern end are fairly quiet and very close to one of the best places.. "Ocean Drive strip" where you find the most popular spot in South Miami Beach "Mango's Tropical Cafe", and are surrounded by fine dining places like "Prime 112", others.
Now, those oceanfront located in the middle of all the best areas in south Miami beach are found on Collins Avenue just north of 15th Street...they have the beach on the East, Lincoln Road" on the West, "Ocean Drive strip" on the South and "Washington Avenue" (mostly known for its nightlife) at South-West
