Kite Surfing / Kite Boarding
South Beach Miami Florida
Take kite-surfing lessons! There are many schools in and around south beach where you can learn this fun activity.
If you don't know what it is yet, it's simply board surfing powered by a kite that you and the wind control.
Compare to regular surfing, that requires a lot of swimming and waiting, plus many other factors must be present in order for the right waves to develop, Kite-boarding is possible practically all the time.
Many of the places where kite-Boarding is done in Miami have shallow waters, which makes it even more attractive for beginners to learn it.
One of the busiest places for kite-boarding/kite-surfing is right next to Miami Seaquarium, where you're going to see close to 100 kite-surfers, especially around 2pm. Also, about the same amount of windsurfers could be seen about a mile west, close to the entrance to key Biscayne.
If you are a pro just take your gear to Key Biscayne by the seaquarium or rent it there.
